Hey I'm Gemma.
Since January 2012 when I decided enough was enough and I didn't want to be a sedentary, unhealthy person any more; I've loved being healthy and fit. However, this year due to a number of reasons; I've started to slip a little bit, so I decided to make this blog to get me excited about health and fitness again.
This blog will be mainly recipes, because I believe to stick to healthy eating- you have to make eating enjoyable! Furthermore, I'm vegetarian; and have recently decided to cut out wheat on trial as I suspect a wheat sensitivity- basically, I like to make life difficult for myself, being wheatfreemeatfree. This does mean there are a lack of recipes that I can think of off of the top of my head when deciding what to cook for dinner, so I've decided to explore the tons of recipes I've wanted to try for ages and adapt them to fit my needs to make my diet a little more varied and interesting.
I will also try and blog my fitness to keep me accountable. Unfortunately I am (currently) injured, as I underpronate and this has led to tons of problems for me in recent months. However, I'm hoping to get that sorted soon- so watch this space!
I will also probably include some reviews on make up/toiletries as anyone who knows me will tell you- I have a weakness for them. However, this is difficult for me as well as I also suffer from sensitive skin (which may be due to wheat intolerance- hence the trial). I have to be so careful with what I use a) because I'm veggie and b) because so many things cause a rash/flaky skin. The last time I used Johnsons, my neck went all scaly. I looked like a lizard!!!
So yeah. I'm one of those annoying people that has lots of little things wrong with her, but I hope that you enjoy it regardless!
